A Nice Download Manager for N95

Once awhile you might want to use WiFi equipped N95 do something downloading. As much as we love the build-in browser, which is still the No.1 mobile browser in anywhere outside of the US, the downloading feature is just none.

Now you’ve got an option. Nice dude at the Symbian Blog point us a nice tool called SmartGET, which is a Python based download manager.

Features:

• Download multiple files simultaneously (up to 5)

• Auto-resume failed downloads due to network errors

• Progress bar for downloads

• Monitor clipboard for links

• Updated Settings dialog. (more settings)

• Start/Stop Timer (Still need to iron out some bugs)

Keyboard Shortcuts:

• Use joystick left-right to select toolbar icons

• Use joystick up-down to select downloads in queue.

• Numeric Key 7 - Auto-orientation

• Numeric Key 8 - Portrait
