DIY: Simple Nokia N95 Desktop Stand

The recently announced Nokia N96 features a kick-stand on the back that allows the device to stand alone for hands free movies watching.

This clever stand mechanism is built into the camera surround instead of the lens protector and I am really not happy with this solution. I’ll rater choose the lens protector on the 5 mpx cam than the desktop stand that I’ll not use that often.

Anyway, probably inspired by the Nokia N96, Abdel Gany came with a very interesting idea, a simple desktop stand for the Nokia 95 that you can build in a minute and basically costs nothing.

Actually it is even better solution than the N96 kick us stand because it has adjustable angle and camera lens protect… ..
