Nokia Getting Closer to Microsoft via Silverlight

I complained about Nokia is about to put Microsoft on Nokia phone and gave first hand experience as the reason. Well, looks Nokia and Microsoft is getting closer. Today, Nokia announced plans to make Microsoft Silverlight available for S60 on Symbian OS, the world’s leading smartphone software(1), as well as for Series 40 devices and Nokia Internet tablets.

Silverlight is Microsoft’s attempt to make a Flash alike technologies and compete with Flash at the exact space. It’s sad that Nokia is not adapting the mature Flash and go with Silverlight.
