Navigate N95 by Shaking with KEYNetik

POSTED BY Jack on Mar 1 under N95 Software

keynetik_rocknscroll_ready_featureKEYnetik has officially released the first beta of their Rock’n’Scroll application for the Nokia N95’s accelerometer. Rock’n’Scroll uses the handset’s accelerometer to allow the user to navigate through the phone’s menu by flicking in the desired direction. There is also a ‘game’ mode that allows for smoother, more continuous motion, as well.

This application basically does the same thing as NokMote. I’ve wrote about some accelerometer applications here. Looks there are more and more in the pipe line. So far there isn’t really a killer app yet. Of cause, you won’t install all those accelerometer apps on your phone, only because you won’t know what will happen when you shake your phone. Or, that might be a interesting test actually. Load them on up and see what’ll happen.
