Geo-Tagging Done by Nokia this Time

POSTED BY Jack on Jan 28 under N95 Photo, N95 Software

I’ve showed you before using Shozu to geo tag your photos. Now Nokia Beta Labs comes out with a small program can be installed on N95 and do the geo-tagging for you. Go download Nokia Location Tagger Beta. This program is compatible with the N95, N95 8GB, N82, and E90. It might work with other S60v3 handsets in with an external GPS unit.

All you need to do is install the application, and then have it running in the background. Use the built-in camera application to snap your pictures. There will be a small icon in the bottom corner of your screen showing you the current status as red, amber, or green. Green means that the Nokia Location Tagger is currently tagging, while amber means that it is still searching for coordinates. Red means it is experiencing an error of some sort. I love this automated geo-tagging right out of the camera function.

Of cause, after that you can use the build in Flickr or Vox connection feature on N95 to upload your pictures or like I do, install and use Shozu do it.
